All projects

Project overview.

A single-tenant retail build-out of approximately 1,500 square feet in Allen, Texas, taken from shell condition to a finished barber shop in 6 weeks with MASACO as general contractor.

Scope of work.

  • Full interior build-out from shell condition
  • Electrical and lighting layout and installation
  • Plumbing for barber stations
  • Flooring, paint, and full finish-out package
  • Coordination of all subcontractors and city inspections

The challenge.

The PVC wall system specified for the station walls required additional fire marshal testing documentation before the city would issue the certificate of occupancy. We worked directly with the supplier and city officials to secure the compliance data and resolve the inspection requirement without moving the completion date.

Outcome.

Delivered on schedule for the grand opening. Every city inspection passed without delay, and the client launched operations immediately upon completion.
