Commercial Construction Project Management in Dallas-Fort Worth

One project manager owns your schedule, budget, subcontractors, inspections, and weekly written updates from proposal through final walkthrough.

How we work

Project management is the service that holds the rest of our work together. It’s the discipline of turning a signed proposal into a finished building on the date and the number we agreed to, with every trade, permit, inspection, delivery, and decision sequenced so nobody is standing around and nothing gets built twice. On a MASACO project it’s delivered by one dedicated project manager who is accountable to you from proposal through final walkthrough.

This category is for anyone in Dallas-Fort Worth who has lived through a project that drifted: the homeowner whose remodel ran months long with no explanation, the business owner whose build-out kept failing inspection, the client whose only status update was a text saying “we’re on it.” It’s also for people who haven’t built before and want to understand what good management looks like so they can recognize it when they see it.

What your project manager owns.

Schedule. Before construction starts, your project manager builds a baseline schedule with milestones: demolition, rough-ins, inspections, drywall, finishes, punch. You see it, and you see it again every week with actual progress marked against it.

Budget. The fixed-scope proposal is the budget. Your project manager tracks committed costs against it and brings any variance to you in writing before it happens, not after.

Subcontractors. We select trades for the quality of their work and their reliability on schedule, sequence them so the electrician isn’t waiting on the framer, and check their work before the next trade covers it up.

Permits and inspections. Texas doesn’t license general contractors at the state level, so registration, permitting, and inspection all happen with the city where your project sits. Your project manager handles the application, schedules each inspection, meets the inspector, and closes out the permit at the end.

Communication. Every week you get a written update with photos: what was completed, what’s next, any decisions we need from you, and any schedule or budget changes. In writing, so there’s a record.

Changes. When you want to change something, or when the wall we opened reveals something we couldn’t have seen, the change is priced, documented, and approved by you before the work proceeds.

Owner’s-representative style oversight.

On larger projects, owners sometimes hire a separate owner’s representative to watch the contractor. We built our project management to do that job from the inside: independent schedule tracking, cost reporting you can read, documented inspections, and a project manager whose job is to protect the plan rather than the crew’s convenience. You get that oversight on every project we run, not as an add-on.

Where project management sits in our services.

Three services lean on it most. General contracting is project management by definition, since holding the contract and coordinating the trades is the job. Commercial construction adds landlord requirements, tenant move-in dates, and inspections that have to be sequenced around an operating building. Custom home building runs the longest and carries the most decisions, which is where a written schedule and weekly updates earn their keep.

How MASACO runs it.

Our project management follows the same process every time. Consultation and site walk. Design with 3D visualization so decisions get made before construction, not during. A fixed-scope proposal that becomes the budget. Permits, engineering, and HOA submittals handled. Construction with one dedicated project manager and weekly written photo updates. Final walkthrough, punch list, and a care guide.

Sara Bannat and Mahmoud Abu Saad built this system running Roof Raiders & Co., the Plano roofing company they founded in 2022, where storm season teaches you quickly that the paperwork and the photos are what protect the client. MASACO applies it to construction.

Where we work.

We manage projects this way across our Dallas-Fort Worth service areas, from Dallas and Fort Worth to the suburbs around Plano.
